We hope you notice that our office is geared toward the care and well-being of children. From your child's first visit, we will focus on developing proper brushing habits, making suggestions about the effects of a poor diet and monitoring growth and development.
We understand that children, young and old may have anxiety about coming to the dentist. We work with your child focusing on their concerns to help them have pleasant experiences. If need be, we are also equipped to offer general anesthesia services in a hospital setting as well. There are times when children are treated more safely during one visit in the hospital.
We are also here to support the children and families with congenital anomalies like cleft lip and palate to deal with the long-term dental needs. Additionally, we will also take into consideration the social aspects associated with the anomalies.
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. There are times when we may recommend an early morning appointment for very young preschool children or if procedures are being completed on school age children. Our recommendations are only meant to provide the best possible experience for your child.
If you must cancel your appointments, we ask that you notify the office 48 hours in advance. We realize that unexpected things can happen. However, we ask for your assistance in this regard.
Dr. Lewis can be reached after hours by calling the office number at 520-881-2966 and having the doctor paged by pressing "0". If you feel that your child has suffered a true medical emergency, please call 911.
