Dr. Jean Lewis grew up in Western Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. She was fortunate to be the youngest of seven children.
Pennsylvania will always be home for her because that's where she fell in love with the outdoors. Most recently she was a practicing pediatric dentist in metropolitan Chicago.
Dr. Lewis attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated from dental school in 2000. After graduation she completed her general practice residency at Allegheny General Hospital. While working at Allegheny General Hospital, Dr. Lewis had the opportunity to work with several children and fell in love with pediatric dentistry.
Wanting to hone her skills first, she chose to practice as a general dentist for several years before returning to school to complete a specialty program in pediatric dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
As a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Lewis will tell you she has the best job in the world because she has the honor of watching your children grow into young adults as she helps them take care of their teeth along the way.
On a personal note, Dr. Lewis has fallen in love with Tucson and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and biking. If you run into Dr. Lewis and her dog Sophie walking along the River stop them and say hello. |
